Family Sing

Do you and your child love to sing? Are you looking for a relaxed way to share music together?

Come join our Family Sing on Saturdays at 72nd St! Family Sing meets from 9:45-10:30 led by our voice teacher, Caprice Corona. This class is open to children 5+ to attend with an adult. Family Sing will include body and vocal warm ups, music theory, and simple melodic singing, and each mini-session includes a fun theme!
See below for themes and dates, and click on your preferred Fall Session(s) to register advance:

Fall Session I: Music in Many Languages-September 28 (first class–FREE!)*, Oct. 5, 19, 26 $60
Fall Session II: All About Rounds (singing in canon)-November 2, 9, 16 $60
Fall Session III: Movies and Musicals- Nov. 23, Dec. 7, 14 $60

Weekly Drop-Ins welcome for $25/Family (Sept 28 will be a free demo!)*

Here’s a very general breakdown of the Sing:
o Stretch and vocal warm ups
o Arrival song
o Solfege
o Introduction of new piece
o Movement Activity
o Review piece/Familiar song
o Parting song

This is an opportunity to bond with your child, to learn more about vocal health and general music, and to experience the joy of singing with others in a supportive space. All levels are welcome!
