NO IN-PERSON STRING CAMPS FOR SUMMER 2021! Join us next summer!
String Camps are offered specific weeks throughout the summer and over select school vacation weeks for students studying violin, viola, cello for at least one semester playing Twinkle and beyond. (We also offer Twinkle Violin/Cello Camps new beginner students).
The daily camp schedule includes a master-class or mini-lesson, a group class for playing fun and motivating musical games together and working on ensemble playing and review pieces, practicing skills class, a theory class where students increase their knowledge of musical concepts away from their instrument, a fun instrument-related project or art activity, a healthy snack, and some outdoor time or musical outing during the week. On Friday of each week we will have a concert of group and solo playing, with adults invited*. More advanced students will have the opportunity to play chamber music pieces during the week as well.
