With stories created around Suzuki repertoire, children ages 4 – 6 will sing, move and experience the pieces in their bodies before learning them on their instruments. In class, we’ll introduce piano, cello, and violin music from Suzuki Books 1-3, which includes folk songs and classical music. Students who already play an instrument, as well as those who do not yet play an instrument are welcome to attend.

The development of increased body awareness along with the practice of centered breathing habits directly impacts beginning and developing instrumental study and helps keep young children centered. While yoga helps us develop as musicians, working with music helps us develop our yoga flow as well.
