A FAMILY CONCERT “Story-telling with Mando” Saturday, June 17, 2017 4:30-5:15pm 218 W 72nd St, New York, New York  Join Armando “Mando” Batista, a storyteller and drummer born and raised in NYC, for a participatory event geared towards young children. Armando “Mando” Batista is a New York Native born and raised in Washington Heights. He is a writer, performer and teaching artist; an urban storyteller capturing the magic and myth of daily life to pull out the extraordinary. Mando has been teaching theater arts to youth for over ten years. As a performer, he has worked in television, film and theater. He is passionate about education and the power of story-telling as a tool for self-development and play.
