A FAMILY CONCERT

“Story-telling with Mando”
Saturday, June 17, 2017

Join Armando “Mando” Batista, a storyteller and drummer born and raised in NYC, for a participatory event geared towards young children. Mando brings children’s books to life with music, movement and improvisation and inspires kids to create their own stories based on themes of positivity and community.*space is limited*
$12 per person in advance/$15 at the door
Purchase tickets online in advance
*advance tickets will be available until Friday, June 16, 5pm
*cash or check required for tickets purchased at the door

This concert is ideal for children ages 2-6 years. Children under 2  ~ free


Armando “Mando” Batista

Armando “Mando” Batista is a New York Native born and raised in Washington Heights. He is a writer, performer and teaching artist; an urban storyteller capturing the magic and myth of daily life to pull out the extraordinary. Mando has been teaching theater arts to youth for over ten years. As a performer, he has worked in television, film and theater. He is passionate about education and the power of story-telling as a tool for self-development and play.
