Penny Practicing Challenge!

February 14, 2018

SILVER MUSIC CHALLENGE:

325 MINUTES OF PRACTICING

Our 325 Minute Practicing Challenge, which begins February 1st through February 28th!

We’ve created a Practice Sheet for you to help your child keep track of their practice minutes. Print out and bring this sheet to your child’s lesson to show your teacher! If your child earns 325 practice minutes or more, they will be invited to a PIZZA PARTY at Silver Music! Woo!

This challenge is open to ALL students (lessons/group do not count as practice time).

We’ll be tracking our practice time at our 72nd St location and at Tiemann with pennies in jars so students can measure their progress. Students add 1 penny to the practice jar for every 15 minutes of practice.

We’ll combine the pennies at both locations and the student with the most practice minutes will win all pennies in the practice jar!

In another jar, Silver Music will be doubling the amount of the practice jar and donating the proceeds to UNICEF, a United Nations program headquartered in New York City that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children in developing countries.

The top 10 Practicers will be featured on our blog and receive a practicing prize.

Completed practice sheets will be accepted between March 1-March 2 at 72nd St. (An emailed picture of the sheet is fine!)

Email any questions to silvermusic@silvermusic.org. Happy Practicing!
